Upper School Athletics
Rowland Hall Athletics provides a positive, competitive environment that emphasizes skill training, commitment, respect, accountability, and development of character and self-esteem—all while enjoying the camaraderie of a team experience.
Rowland Hall’s Upper School is classified as a Division 2A school in Region 17 of the Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA).
Our Upper School Winged Lions regularly win region and state championships. Added to that list are the numerous accolades for individual athletes; Directors Cups for success in athletics, academics, sportsmanship, and student leadership; UHSAA Sportsmanship Awards; numerous Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (UIAAA) Highest Team GPA awards; and the Deseret News All-Sports Award winner as the 2A school with the most state championships in 2007–2008. Rowland Hall typically places in the top five for the 2A All-Sports Award.
