Change the World

With school being out for a few months, summer is a great time to commit yourself to making a difference in the community by volunteering with a local not-for-profit or doing a project at home that benefits our environment or people in the community. Students (and families) of all ages can contribute in meaningful ways–ways that will not only help others but will also teach you a lot about yourselves.

Using the links at the left, click on the your school division’s page. These divisional pages have age-appropriate ideas and suggestions for ways to get involved in the community this summer. Divisional pages also have links to organization’s websites as well as Word or PDF files that will download on your desktop with more ideas and information.

The Places to Serve link has links to not-for-profits that would love to have Rowland Hall students volunteer (many organizations have age restrictions) with them this summer. Please check this list often, as the list of organizations will grow and change.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email Liz Paige directly.

Thank you for your commitment to making the world a better place for all.
