Sustainability at Rowland Hall

Rowland Hall recognizes the importance of integrating sustainable practices into school life.

Sustainability fits with the mission, vision and values described in Rowland Hall’s Strategic Plan.

Through attention to critical thinking and stewardship of the environment, the sustainability program encourages A Proud Tradition of Excellence, Character and Service.
Engaging the complex issues surrounding sustainability will help prepare students to become adept, forward thinkers, and will contribute to Rowland Hall being The Leader in Pre-College Excellence.
Given that all humans must survive on one planet, addressing sustainability connects students to the global community, and encourages them to consider a Diversity of People and Thought, . . and be Locally, Nationally, and Globally Connected.

The sustainability committee has drafted a 5-year Sustainability Action Plan that serves as a roadmap to addressing sustainability at the school.
