Available Positions

Beginning and Lower School Associate Teachers work with children across multiple grade levels and sections, providing individual student support, small group facilitation, and student supervision under the direction of the Lower School administration and academic team. The Associate Teacher position is ideal for early service educators who are passionate about teaching elementary-aged children, growing their craft, and contributing to a dynamic, student-centered learning environment. Each Associate Teacher will be assigned to a subset of grades (eg: K-1 or 4-5) and will ideally remain in the position for 2 years. Paired with a master educator on the Lower School faculty, Associate teachers will have opportunities to observe and be observed, participate in instructional coaching, and engage in professional development opportunities tailored to their individual growth goals. 

The Equity and Inclusion Program Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Equity and Inclusion and the Director of Community Engagement and Impact. The Program Coordinator supports the advancement of the school’s commitment to equity and inclusion, including its mission and vision, core values, and strategic priorities through curricular, co-curricular, and community programs. 

The Human Resources Generalist is a vital member of our Business Office team, responsible for overseeing payroll administration, on/off-boarding, benefits assistance, recruitment efforts, etc. for our 250+ employees. We seek an individual who is not only proficient in HR fundamentals but also hungry for growth and driven by a proactive, innovative mindset. This dynamic role requires managing payroll processes, facilitating smooth transitions for new hires and departures, supporting benefits administration, and actively contributing to HR projects. The Lower School seeks an educator who will plan and implement a curriculum for a lower elementary classroom (grades 1 and 2) and work effectively with the grade-level team and specialty teachers. In addition to teaching, this person will communicate regularly and proactively with students, their families, and colleagues, and contribute positively to the overall school culture while fulfilling duties as assigned (recess and lunch supervision, field trips, etc.) and serving on all-school or hiring committees as needed.

The Lower School seeks a full-time PE teacher who will work effectively with the PE team and grade-level teachers to plan and implement the curriculum. In addition to teaching, this person will communicate proactively with students, their families, and colleagues, contribute positively to the overall school culture while fulfilling duties as assigned (recess and lunch supervision, field trips, etc.), and serve on all-school committees as requested or desired.

Full-time Media Arts Teacher who can develop new programming for students in grades 6-12 to complement existing introductory courses. The direction of the program is flexible and dependent on the skills and interests of the person hired. 

The Middle School Academic Support Coordinator is a member of the middle school student support team and collaborates with all faculty to support students within the academic and advisory programs. 

This is a full-time Middle School teaching position, with four sections of English instruction, and a grade-level advisory. As an English teacher, you are responsible for planning and teaching dynamic, age-appropriate lessons, communicating regularly and proactively with students, their families, and colleagues, and contributing positively to the overall school culture.

This is a full-time Middle School teaching position, with four sections of language instruction, and a grade-level advisory. As a French and Spanish teacher, you are responsible for planning and teaching dynamic, age-appropriate lessons, communicating regularly and proactively with students, their families, and colleagues, and contributing positively to the overall school culture. 

This is a part-time Middle School French teaching position. As a world language teacher, you are responsible for planning and teaching dynamic, age-appropriate lessons, communicating regularly and proactively with students, their families, and colleagues, and contributing positively to the overall school culture.

This is a full-time student support position working closely with administration, teachers, and parents while supporting and advocating for students. In addition, the counselor is part of the physical education/wellness team, using their current and evolving knowledge and research to design and implement a wellness curriculum that is developmentally appropriate for middle school-aged students to support their holistic well-being.

This is a part-time Middle School Spanish teaching position. As a world language teacher, you are responsible for planning and teaching dynamic, age-appropriate lessons, communicating regularly and proactively with students, their families, and colleagues, and contributing positively to the overall school culture.

This is a full-time teaching position. As the computer science teacher, you are responsible for planning and teaching dynamic, age-appropriate lessons, communicating regularly and proactively with students, their families, and colleagues, and contributing positively to the overall school culture. 

Reporting directly to the Junior Program Director. Engaged in all aspects related to the Rowmark Junior program: athletic development, team communication, athlete evaluations, athlete tuning clinics, video analysis, maintain team equipment, implement policies, and develop both process and performance goals with each athlete.

The SummerWorks Assistant Director position involves working closely with the SummerWorks Director to organize, execute, and keep camp programs running smoothly. This position requires a high-level of creative thought, initiative, organization, attention to detail, and most importantly, effective communication. The SummerWorks Director, the Extended Day and Winter Sports Director, Assistant Director, and Office Assistant make up the SummerWorks administrative team, working collaboratively to ensure that campers are safe, having fun, and growing!

The SummerWorks Camp Counselor staff position involves the direct supervision of children, maintaining a caring, consistent, and enjoyable environment, and communicating with the SummerWorks leadership team. This is a part-time position. Positions are available Monday through Friday, from 8:15 am to 4:00 pm.

As a key member of the Rowland Hall Technology team, the Technology Support Center Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Lincoln Street Technology Support Center and provide T1 and T2 technical support to our community (students, faculty and staff).  The Technology Support Center Manager should have the technical ability and background to fix 95% of the support issues that come into the Technology Support Center (hardware, software, network, etc.)

The Lower School seeks an educator who will plan and implement curriculum for an upper elementary classroom (grades 3, 4, or 5) and work effectively with the grade-level team and specialty teachers. In addition to teaching, this person will communicate regularly and proactively with students, their families, and colleagues, and contribute positively to the overall school culture while fulfilling duties as assigned (recess and lunch supervision, field trips, etc.) and serving on all-school or hiring committees as needed.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the Upper School Boys Golf program and supporting the Head Coach. This role includes planning and orchestrating practices, attending all matches both home and away, and working closely with the Director of Athletics to assure a quality golf program experience for Rowland Hall student-athletes. Prior coaching experience is preferred.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the Upper School Swim program, including planning and orchestrating practices, collaborating with the other Head Coach, attending all meets both home and away, and working closely with the Director of Athletics to ensure a quality swim program experience for Rowland Hall student-athletes. Prior coaching experience in a school and/or club setting is preferred.

This is a new, full-time position designed to expand opportunities for entrepreneurship, business, economics, innovation, and student-generated project work in the upper school. This teacher will continue to build on our current program which includes courses in entrepreneurship and business. Additional courses are TBD depending on the experience and interests that the new hire brings to the table. 

This position will be responsible for overseeing the upper school Girls Soccer program, including planning and orchestrating practices, supervising assistant coaches, attending all games both home and away, and working closely with the Director of Athletics to assure a quality soccer program experience for Rowland Hall student-athletes. Prior coaching experience in a school and/or club setting is preferred.

This is a part-time (.6-.8 FTE) or full-time position (1.0 FTE) whose primary responsibilities include teaching AP Psychology, as well as additional courses in social sciences or another discipline. This teacher is a member of the History and Social Sciences Department.
