Softball camp Saturday 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. grades 4-12 "It is that time of year again when poor air quality caused by
inversions becomes a health concern for many of us, especially
our children. 50 % of air pollution in Utah comes from car emissions,
so we can all make a difference by not idling our cars. Please
remember the school's Curb Your Carbon policy: when on school grounds
please do not idle your vehicles." L'Union fait la Force The Haitian motto of "Strength in Unity" could not be more accurate as the Middle School joined together to raise more than $500 for Doctors Without Borders in Haiti. Thank you all for the support and look for future fundraisers in the coming weeks! MathCounts - Special thanks to Harris Christiansen's family for providing our snack this week. Sophia has volunteered her family for our snack next week. The school competition went very well with all mathletes scoring numerous points. There was a battle for the fourth team member between Emily Sundquist and Matt Parker. The final team will be Clark Walthers, Sara Harper, Harris Christiansen, and Emily Sundquist. Our second team will follow the leadership of their captain Matt Parker; his team members are Claire Wang, Sasha Uchitel and Sophia Nielsen. All will be competing at the regional competition on February 6th. Next Monday and Tuesday's practice sessions will be focused on competition strategies, team building, and work on probability. Congratulations to all our mathletes. Romeo and Juliet Cast Feb marks the beginning of after school rehearsals for MS cast members. A rehearsal calendar was sent home with students - May also be found on Mr. Lindemann's RH theatre web page. |
