Middle School Fine Arts

Our Fine Arts program is an integral part of the curriculum and offers many opportunities for students to express themselves through the visual or performing genres.

Dance

From modern dance to musical theater to jazz improvisation, students are directed and choreographed by faculty who themselves are all professional artists.  Class time is spent focusing both on honing technical elements as well as in rehearsing for formal productions. 

Performing Arts

Performing arts groups have multiple performance opportunities, including local jazz and choir festivals and competitions, individual and ensemble recitals at all-school assemblies, and numerous evening concerts and showcases in the Larimer Center for Performing Arts.

Artist-In-Residence Programs

In addition to arts classes, the Upper School hosts artist-in-residence programs each year, bringing professional artists into the school to work alongside students and faculty. This rich experience allows students of all artistic abilities and background to exercise their creative talents.
