School Life
Home and School
The Home and School Association is the Rowland Hall parent-teacher organization and all parents, guardians, faculty, and administration are registered members. The Home and School Association is dedicated to increasing communication and understanding between the parents, faculty, administration, and students in all educational and social concerns. This group sponsors and supports a variety of activities and projects throughout the school year with the dues collected from families in the fall.
The Association is governed by the Home and School Board which meets monthly.
McCarthey Campus Home and School meetings are held at 8:30 am on the following dates:
September 13, McCarthey Campus Dining Hall
November 8, McCarthey Campus Parlor
February 14, McCarthey Campus Parlor
March 20, McCarthey Campus Parlor.
Lincoln Street Home and School meetings are held once per trimester at 1:15pm in the Upper School Faculty Lounge.
The president and Board members are appointed in the spring of each year. At that time, the committees are organized from volunteer requests. Any member of the school community may offer a name to be placed in nomination for consideration as a member of the Home and School Board.
Room Representatives and Grade Representatives
Room Representatives and Grade Representatives are parent volunteers who assist with special projects and Home and School activities when needed. If you are interested in being a room or grade representative, please contact the Home & School president for your campus.
