Outstanding Rowmark Race Results

Max Axelrod

In the Western Region FIS Qualifier races in Sun Valley, ID, Rowmark had strong performances from Reid Silverman, Wesley Warner, Danelle Devine, Zach Young, and Jake Graves.   Danelle was 19th in the GS, Jake placed 24th in the SL (all the way from the 75th start position), Wesley finished 9th in both the SL and GS, Reid was 6th in the GS race and 10th in the SL, and Zach Young skied to 14th in the GS (3rd place in the second run!), and roared from the 71st start position to move up all the way to 12th place!

This past weekend the J3 age group had their second Junior Olympic Qualifier race at Park City and Breezy Johnson won three of the four runs contested and finished the weekend with a resounding 2.3 second victory in the GS race.  Hank Shipman and Tristan McInnis also impressed with top 15 finishes of their own.

Finally, in the Western Region FIS Elite Speed Races at Mammoth, Max Axelrod had a breakout weekend finishing 3rd in the first Super-G race, and followed that up with a fourth in the second Super-G and another fourth in the DH race.  Andrew Kircher was right on his heels with 4th, 6th and 7th places.  Juniors
Chase Ryan and  JJ Cleason also scored top ten results.  On the women’s side Linnea Zavala continued her strong season with a fourth in the second Super-G and two other top ten finishes.  Stephanie Schott finished the weekend on a strong note with a top 20 in the final DH race.   Congratulations to all!
