Boys' Basketball Wrap Up

The 2009-10 boys' basketball season came to an abrupt end on Saturday when we lost by one point to 4th ranked Kanab. We executed a great game plan for the first three quarters, but the full court press was too tough to handle in the fourth quarter. I felt so bad for Quentin, as he was playing one of his finest games of the season when he went down early in the third quarter with an ankle injury. I was very proud of our effort, and I am happy to say that our returning players have already begun plans for the off-season!
I want to thank all the members of the Winged Lion Basketball Family for supporting our team this season. It was rewarding to see so many past players and parents attend games to support this year's team. We will miss our senior captains, Matt B. and Quentin M., as well as Peter S., Eddie B., and Colton S. We thank our seniors for their contributions to our program, and wish them all the best in the future.
