Biography:

Susanna began teaching first grade at Rowland Hall in 2010. Prior to that, she had taught in independent and public schools in Colorado and California. Susanna holds a BA from Smith College, along with a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Colorado and an educational specialist's degree in reading education from the University of Virginia. Susanna loves the boundless curiosity and imagination of first graders. On the weekends, she can be found hiking in the Wasatch Mountains, trying a new recipe, or curled up with a good book.

Susanna was a 2022 recipient of the Sumner/Larsen Excellence in Teaching Faculty Award.
