Faculty & Staff Profile
Dr. Emina Alibegovic is a Bosnian mathematician specializing in math education. She earned a doctorate in mathematics from the University of Utah, completed a post-doc at the University of Michigan, and won first prize at a dessert contest with her special recipe orange cake (some say only because she threatened the judges, but that is pure fiction and jealousy). She worked at the University of Utah teaching mathematics and mathematics education prior to moving to Rowland Hall. She can be found organizing math conferences, making fabulous desserts, and riding her bicycle across the Intermountain West.
