Matt Sincell

Matt Sincell

Titles: US/MS Theatre Teacher and Technical Director of the Larimer Center
Degrees: BFA, Acting, West Virginia University
Biography:

Matt grew up on the East Coast and graduated with a BFA in acting from West Virginia University. Upon graduation, he moved to New York City and lived there for 10 years, working as an actor in the city, in regional companies throughout the US, and internationally in the UK. He was an artist in residence at The Globe Theatre in London and a guest artist at West Virginia University. He has also taught theatre to a wide range of young students, from elementary school through college.

When he moved to Utah in 2011, Matt took a brief hiatus from the acting world. He worked for nearly two years as a wilderness therapy instructor before returning to school to pursue a nursing degree. However, the call of the stage was too strong. Matt considers himself incredibly lucky to be the theatre teacher at Rowland Hall and to continue to work professionally as an actor in Salt Lake City.
