Biography:

Ella joined Rowland Hall in 2015, bringing her cheerful enthusiasm for learning from Seattle to Salt Lake City. She holds a BA in sociology from Central Washington University and an MEd in instructional design from Western Governors University. Before joining Rowland Hall, Ella was a part of various early childhood teaching and administrative roles across independent schools in Washington. Ella is dedicated to crafting developmentally appropriate and playful curriculum that seamlessly integrates with the natural beauty of Salt Lake City.

When she's not digging in the nature yard or listening for birds with her 4PreK class, Ella loves all things outdoors—especially in the desert. She spends a lot of time camping, gardening, and cooking alongside her partner, Michael, and their two goofy Labradors, Mo and Tahoe.
