Faculty & Staff Profile

Haas Pectol received her bachelor of science in elementary education from the University of Utah in 2005. She has also taught fourth grade in the Los Angeles Unified School District and at a charter school in Salt Lake.

She and her husband, Mike, have three beautiful daughters, Jade, Lucy, and Ruth, a miniature Schnauzer named Wally, and six chickens named Chicky 1 through 6. As a family, they love to travel, hike, bike, and play music—they play and Haas listens! She loves all things pertaining to nature and the outdoors and has a great respect for wildlife, especially after encountering a grizzly bear during a trip to Glacier National Park. She also loves playing tennis and making piñatas for friends and family.

Aside from being a wife and a mother, teaching is what Haas loves most. She is passionate about children, teaching, learning, and professional growth. She is honored to be a part of the Rowland Hall family and enjoys growing her circle of friends and family on this journey.
