Jen taught in independent schools in New York City and Silicon Valley prior to discovering Rowland Hall, where she first taught fifth grade. She is excited to get back to teaching early elementary and being surrounded by the wonder and awe of first graders. Jen has facilitated SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) seminars for educators, and enjoys bringing her passion for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging into the classroom. Jen loves watching her two young kids explore the libraries and parks of Salt Lake City. In her free time, she enjoys listening to audiobooks, walking in Red Butte Garden, and visiting the zoo and the aquarium.
