Faculty & Staff Profile
Nevah has enjoyed a lifelong association with independent schools. Raised in the Washington, D.C. area, her K-12 journey began in McLean, Virginia, and took her to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Rome, Italy, and back to Virginia again. Nevah received a BS in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University.
Throughout her adult life, Nevah has served independent schools from multiple vantage points: as an alumna, a parent, a substitute teacher, a board member, and an employee. She and her family moved to Utah 26 years ago, in awe of the beautiful views. Before joining Rowland Hall, Nevah was a physician liaison for Shriners Hospital. Prior to that, she was director of advancement for Juan Diego Catholic elementary and middle schools. The mother of a special needs son, Nevah served two terms as a parent member on Utah’s Developmental Disability Council, advocating on behalf of the state’s disabled community.
Nevah enjoys writing, sailing, photography, and public speaking. She's a big fan of sports movies and the music of her parents’ generation. She is married to Brad, her first-grade crush, and they have three adult sons.
