Ashley Atwood joined Rowland Hall's marketing team in August 2019, bringing to the role more than 10 years of experience as a communications professional for nonprofit, global financial services, and higher education organizations. She loves writing about Rowland Hall's students and teachers, and has even been recognized for that work: in January 2023, Ashley and biology teacher Robert Wilson were awarded Gold in the “Magazine Writing” category of the 2022 InspirED School Marketers Brilliance Awards for their Hemingway-inspired story, House of Light: A Teacher, a Renowned Literary Legacy, and the Reach of Inspired Learning.

Ashley earned a BA in communication with minors in business and English from Westminster University. She served on Westminster's Alumni Board for two terms, including a year as chair, between 2015 and 2021. She also previously served on the leadership board for the Utah Women's Alliance for Building Community.

Ashley and her husband are the proud parents of two busy, curious children and one busy, curious pup.
