Biography:

Susan joined Rowland Hall in August 2020 and hails from New Jersey by way of Philadelphia. Her love of teaching children began after graduating from Mary Baldwin College in 2008 with majors in history and philosophy/religion, and minors in public history and leadership skills. She worked as a camp director and fall outdoor educator, and continued in Philadelphia, where she worked with grades K–8. She has a passion for learning strategies and techniques that foster student engagement. In her free time Susan likes to bike, hang out with her niece and nephew, and jam out to ’80s music.
