Titles: Science Teacher
Degrees: Bachelor of Science, Geochemistry and Geophysics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Biography:

Laura joined the Rowland Hall team in 2020. She is originally from Minnesota and received her bachelor of science in geochemistry and geophysics from MIT. Her field work fueled her love of travel and took her to amazing places around the world, including the UK, South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, as well as much of the American West (including Utah). She has been teaching science at various levels for several years, and taught in Connecticut and Arizona before moving to Salt Lake City in 2019. In her free time, Laura enjoys hiking, reading, and trying to keep her plants alive—they are apparently more delicate than rocks!
