Biography

Colette has a BA in psychology from Brigham Young University (BYU) with an emphasis on child development and sports psychology. Prior to coaching at Rowland Hall, Colette assisted Davis High School to three state championships and two national championships. She also coached the Utah Royal FC Reserves to a runner-up spot in the Women's Premier Soccer League National Championship in their inaugural season. Colette played soccer at the collegiate level, captaining BYU to two West Coast Conference Championships and an NCAA tournament run to the Elite Eight. She then went on to play at the professional level with Real Salt Lake Women from 2011 to 2017 and with the Utah Royals FC in 2018. Colette and her husband, Pierce, have two sons, Dez and Finn Smith.
