Mary Grace is from the sunny coast of South Carolina. She received her bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Appalachian State in Boone, NC, where her love for young children (and the mountains) began. Before moving to Salt Lake City and working at Rowland Hall, she taught kindergarten at a forest school in Ogden, UT, and also taught second grade in Logan, UT.

In her free time, Mary Grace loves to spend time outside running, golfing, skiing, and camping with her husband and two dogs. If you can't find her outside, she's most likely painting with watercolors or snuggled up reading a book.
