Claire Shepley

Claire Shepley

Titles: 4PreK Assistant Teacher
Biography:

Claire is an experienced and accomplished educator who holds an MS in special education from San Francisco State University and a BS in parks and recreation administration with an emphasis in recreational therapy from Indiana University. Claire has been educating in and out of the classroom for the last 20 years in different capacities such as adaptive skiing, wilderness therapy, environmental education, and special education, and as a private tutor. Claire loves the challenge that teaching brings day in and day out.

When not in the classroom, Claire enjoys spending time with her sweet family—Jij, Lily, and Gia are always up for an adventure and a good meal. Favorite adventures include camping, paddleboarding, skiing, hiking (as long as they call it “going for a walk”), or, if they are lucky, snorkeling from a warm beach in Hawaii. No matter the adventure, they always find or make a delicious meal along the way.
