After receiving a BS degree from Utah State University in journalism, Deborah worked in broadcast, editing, and publishing in Massachusetts. Three kids and a big cross-country move later, she found herself wanting to pursue her passion for childhood education. She returned to school and received a master's degree in counseling psychology and school counseling from Texas A&M Central Texas. In the years that followed, she served students as a counselor in Texas and Indiana schools. Deborah joined Rowland Hall in 2022 after returning to her native Utah. When she isn’t with her students at Rowland Hall, she enjoys hiking and snowshoeing with her husband and children, watching shows, and hanging out with Harvey, her 13-year-old Yorkiepoo.
