Faculty & Staff Profile
Stacia McFadden
Stacia comes to Rowland Hall from the Lovett School in Atlanta, where she was their chief information officer. In addition to her extensive work in academic technology, Stacia has worn many hats at Lovett and two prior schools in the DC area. These range from summer program director to math and technology teacher to advisor, affinity group sponsor, tennis coach, and instructional coach. Stacia is also a faculty member in the NAIS School Leadership Institute and helped facilitate programming at the Leadership+Design Rowland Hall conference.
Despite her administration-heavy work in recent years, Stacia has prioritized staying connected to students and working in the spaces where students are. In her own words, “the informal parts of my current job, which are very student-centered, truly bring me joy. My curiosity and my openness make my office a safe space and make me an advocate for many.” She is also invested in connecting meaningfully with faculty and staff: “my passion for learning and sharing with colleagues is a core component of my identity.”
