Master's Degree, African-American and African Studies, The Ohio State University
Biography:

Originally from Los Angeles, Kaleb Nielsen brings their passion for equity and inclusion to Rowland Hall as the newly appointed equity and inclusion program coordinator. Prior to joining Rowland Hall, Kaleb served as the Black and African student engagement coordinator at the University of Utah, where they spearheaded initiatives to promote student-facing equity and inclusion programs. In 2023, Kaleb made the move to Utah with their dog, Dr. Dibbs, and has since been committed to advancing diversity in education throughout the Salt Lake City community.

Outside of work, Kaleb is a self-proclaimed Disney aficionado, having seen every Disney animated musical released since 1989. While Utah's beauty has Kaleb torn between the mountains and the sea, they ultimately confess to being in a "vicious love affair with the ocean."
