Biography:

Megan Shaw joined Rowland Hall in 2024 as a licensed clinical social worker to support the social-emotional health of middle school students. She is passionate about working with students to help them grow into their best selves as they navigate the complexities of middle school life. Before joining Rowland Hall, Megan worked with middle school students as a math and science teacher, an assistant dean, a yoga teacher, and a social-emotional counselor. After working with students as a teacher for seven years, Megan earned her master's degree in social work to better support her students' healthy decision-making skills and take a more collaborative approach to mental health. She enjoys supporting students, their families, and their teachers as they work to cultivate stronger communication and enhanced community connections.

Outside of school, Megan enjoys being active in the Wasatch Mountains with her husband and son—running, skiing, fishing, and exploring.
