Biography:

Hannah joined the Rowland Hall faculty in 2024. She has a BS in industrial and labor relations from Cornell, an MAT from Relay Graduate School of Education, and an MEd in education leadership and policy studies from Boston University. Prior to coming to Rowland Hall, Hannah taught elementary school on the East Coast for eight years. She taught grades K–3 for three years in Brooklyn, NY, where she created and ran the after-school program at her school. She then spent five years teaching second and third grades at Brooke Charter Schools in Boston. At Brooke, Hannah also wrote ELA curriculum for the network, was a mentor for new associate teachers, and created an after-school running program for grades 3–5. She truly loves teaching and is passionate about developing strong writing skills, creating an inclusive and joyful classroom community, and coaching new teachers.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys reading, trail runs, yoga, hiking, skiing, and trying to get her puppy, Pemi, to go running with her. She is delighted to join the Rowland Hall family and continue exploring Salt Lake City with her husband and dog.
