Faculty & Staff Profile

Lauren Daynes was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She is a sophomore at the University of Utah, majoring in business administration. Lauren was a club volleyball player throughout middle school and high school where she excelled as a libero and defensive specialist. She carried her passion for volleyball into coaching and led one of her teams in an undefeated season to win the champion title for her league. Lauren is enthusiastic about helping others. As a member of her University of Utah campus, she is actively involved with the philanthropic initiative Read>Lead>Achieve, which is centered around children's literacy. She fully supports the belief in unlocking the power of reading to create a more literate and productive society. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors in the mountains and beaches, hiking with her dog Rocky, and spending time with friends and family.
