Jayme has a BS in elementary education with an emphasis in teaching science from Utah State University. She also has an endorsement for teaching English as a second language. Jayme taught both third and fourth grades in Utah full time before relocating out of state and taking an extended parental leave. After several years in North Carolina and the Bay Area, Jayme is pleased to be back in the Rocky Mountains and back in the classroom.

During her time away from the classroom, Jayme filled her time with learning and volunteering. As a school volunteer, Girl Scout troop leader, youth Sunday school program coordinator, and volunteer teacher in the YMCA youth character building program Project Cornerstone, she loved staying involved with children's education and enrichment.
