J Dianne has worked and lived in the US, Europe, South East Asia, and Africa. Her journey as an educator started in her early twenties as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Rwanda where she taught English as a foreign language and physical education. She considers her role as an educator a responsibility, a privilege, and a joy, and can’t imagine doing anything else. As a parent and educator, she embraces and celebrates the achievements—big and small—and strives to deliver the best educational practices to meet the needs of every member of the school community. J Dianne has a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Northern Arizona University, a masters in educational leadership from Prescott College, a masters in teaching foreign languages from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and a bachelors in French and economics from SUNY Plattsburgh. With over 35 years of experience in education, she has taught and served in a variety of educational leadership roles with learners of all ages, from PreK to graduate, and pre-service to master teachers at international, public, private, charter, and independent schools. She is a forward-thinking, learner-centered, visionary educational leader who leads from the heart and mind. She has a demonstrated history of curriculum development, teacher training, instructional design, program evaluation, experiential learning, project-based and competency-based education, research, and community outreach. She was a recipient of the 2019, 2020, and 2021 Best of State award for Teacher Training. J Dianne enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with her spouse and two children.
