Ashley is thrilled to join the community at Rowland Hall. She taught at a nature-based cooperative preschool for over five years, where she enjoyed helping children learn through hands-on experiences and outdoor exploration. She holds a degree in human and family development with an emphasis in early childhood education from the University of Utah.

Ashley is passionate about supporting young children as they grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. She believes strongly in the power of play and nature to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Outside the classroom, Ashley spends much of her time outdoors—you can often find her hiking in Millcreek Canyon or camping in the Uinta Mountains. She also explores a variety of art mediums, including pottery, embroidery, sewing, crochet, and watercolor painting. She enjoys figure skating, a sport she has been involved in for over 15 years, and holds the rank of senior gold medalist in three disciplines.
