Shannon Foy joined the Rowland Hall faculty in fall 2025 as the Upper School learning specialist. She holds a BA in communications from Virginia State University, where she had the honor of traveling to Italy to sing for Pope John Paul II. It was there she discovered her passion for writing, now focused on mental health and self-care. Shannon earned a master’s in special education from Cambridge College in Massachusetts and pursued further studies in educational leadership.

Her career includes leadership roles as director of engagement, performing arts, and instructional coach, with a specialization in supporting students with learning differences through case management, specialized instruction, and curriculum-aligned strategies. Before joining Rowland Hall, she served as the student support coordinator at Pilgrim School in Los Angeles, where she further developed her passion for school leadership. Since moving to Utah in 2021, Shannon has developed a passion for exploring national parks and embarking on outdoor adventures. She is excited to continue this passion this year and beyond. She looks forward to bringing her experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to student success to the Rowland Hall community.
