Mary Burnett
Mary graduated from Kalamazoo College where she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology. She was also awarded a scholarship for social justice leadership, the Alpha Lamba Delta award, and the Senior Leadership Award for academic and administrative excellence. While at Kalamazoo, Mary was active in the school community, serving as a residential advisor. She also worked as a first-year experience coordinator. In this position she collaborated closely with the dean of students to create freshman orientation from the ground up. After graduating, Mary taught with Teach for America.
