Biography:

Charlotte Larsen became the Middle School assistant principal at Rowland Hall in 2018. Before that, Charlotte spent 10 years teaching in third- through eighth-grade classrooms at four different schools, including six years at Rowland Hall. Charlotte earned a bachelor of science in education from the University of Utah, a Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University, and was a fellow of the Klingenstein Institute through the Teacher’s College of Columbia University. Charlotte worked as a judicial staff attorney, clerked for the Brigham Young University Office of the General Counsel, and was an editor for a journal of education and law.

Charlotte loves to travel and participated in Ustahimilivu Dadas, an educator’s exchange in Nairobi, Kenya. Other travel adventures include teaching English in China, working for a professor at Oxford University, and numerous summers spent waitressing at the Grand Canyon. Charlotte enjoys immersing herself in deep conversations with family and friends, attending live music performances, and spending time outdoors with her husband, Jeff, and their daughter, Bess.
