Biography:

Charlotte Larsen became the Lower School principal at Rowland Hall in January 2025. Before that, Charlotte was the Middle School assistant principal at Rowland Hall for six years, and she spent 10 years teaching in third- through eighth-grade classrooms at four different schools, including six years at Rowland Hall. Charlotte earned a bachelor of science in education from the University of Utah, a Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University, and was a fellow of the Klingenstein Institute through the Teachers’ College of Columbia University. Charlotte loves to travel and participated in Ustahimilivu Dadas, an educator’s exchange in Nairobi, Kenya. Other travel adventures include teaching English in China, working for a professor at Oxford University, and numerous summers spent waitressing at the Grand Canyon. Charlotte enjoys immersing herself in deep conversations with family and friends, attending live music performances, and spending time outdoors with her husband, Jeff, and their daughter, Bess.
