Wendell Thomas

Wendell joined Rowland Hall in 2014 as director of curriculum and instruction. Prior to coming to Utah, he spent 22 years working at four different international schools in Colombia, Venezuela, Qatar, and Belgium. During that time, Wendell taught a broad range of secondary sciences, including three different Advanced Placement courses (biology, chemistry, and environmental science). He has also been a science department chair, homeroom coordinator, and a grade-level and Upper School team leader. Most recently, Wendell was a chemistry teacher and the science department coordinator at Colegio Nueva Granada in Bogotá, Colombia. In his spare time, Wendell enjoys spending time with his wife, Terry, and their four children, reading, and occasionally getting in a day of skiing or a round of golf.
