Middle School Course Description

Elective Course | Half Semester | Open to seventh- and eighth-grade students only

In a time when climate science remains at the forefront of our public discourse, this course seeks to give students a place to investigate and process what the future world could look like. Students will take the lead in identifying areas of interest related to climate science, local ecologies, and environmentalism. After researching their topic, students will enter an experiential process of turning their findings into artistic projects that inform their peers, explore possible futures, and provide action steps to make positive change in response to the current science.
