Middle School Course Description

Extension Course | One Semester (Fall) | Open to all MS students

In this course, we will be building and programming Spike Prime LEGO robots that can perform games and challenges at school as well as compete in a regional FLL competition. We will learn about the basics of physical computing with inputs and outputs, as well as how code is structured to operate the robots. We will also explore engineering concepts to ensure that our robots are able to sense, move, and interact with the world around us. (This course will likely involve a time commitment outside of the school day, including after school and Saturdays, to build and test our robots, perform community outreach, and participate in regional FLL competitions).
