Rowland Hall’s learning support is a resource on executive functioning and academic needs, available to all students, teachers, and families.
Our learning support team consults with teachers regarding best instructional practices as well as strategies for individual learners. Learning support reflects the different schedules and developmental stages of students in each division. Should intensive, specialized, or long-term support be required, members of the team can refer families to individualized services such as academic tutoring, occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, behavior therapy, executive functioning coaching, and educational/neuropsychological evaluations. When a student has an evaluation completed by an outside professional, an individualized student support plan can be created to outline the student’s school-based needs and accommodations.
