Graduation Ceremony: Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 9 am

Timeline and information for graduation morning: 

SATURDAY, JUNE 4:

  • Senior Arrival: 8 am - Meet in the McCarthey Campus Parlor 
  • Faculty Arrival: 8 am - Meet in the McCarthey Campus faculty lounge
  • Family/Guest Arrival: 8–9 am - McCarthey Campus quad (front lawn)
  • Graduation: 9 am - McCarthey Campus quad 

ARRIVAL AND PARKING:

  • Students arrive by 8 am to get ready for graduation in the parlor at the McCarthey Campus.
  • All students and faculty park in the north lot at the McCarthey Campus.
  • All guests park in the south parking lot.
  • The south parking lot will have a designated accessible path for those who may need it.

GRADUATING SENIORS:

  • Upon arrival, each senior will meet in the McCarthey Campus Parlor and will receive a white stole in which they will wear through the ceremony and return after group picture.
  • Immediately following the graduation ceremony, seniors will meet behind the Lower School across from the playground to take their official senior group picture. 
  • 6:00 PM arrival time for your official senior picture for the newspapers and your copy on Thursday, June 2, just before Baccalaureate Service. 
  • Please be sure to show up to graduation rehearsal 15 minutes early to the quad before Graduation Rehearsal & Senior Celebration on Friday in order to receive a gift from our Rowland Hall kindergarten class! 
  • Seniors: are not allowed to decorate your cap before the graduation ceremony. Thanks for your understanding.

FAMILIES AND GUESTS:

  • Restrooms will be accessible for use inside the school buildings.
  • Water will be available for all graduating seniors and guests. 
  • Graduation will take about one hour and 30 minutes.
  • Seating will be organized in the traditional layout of pre-COVID-19 years.
  • Open seating to all on a first-come, first-seat basis. 
  • Families with more than eight people will need to use the overflow seating area in the back to accommodate guests beyond eight. 
  • Please let us know ahead of time if anyone in your party is in a high risk group and requires special accommodations. 
  • We plan to live stream graduation and also have the recording available online soon after!
