Rowland Hall’s Marketing and Communications department seeks a Jr. Social Media Manager intern for the summer of 2023. The Jr. Social Media Manager will have the ability to work on a wide variety of projects, including but not limited to these:
- performing a social media follower audit, which includes analyzing lists of social media followers, identifying their relationship to the school, and producing data on how many people in various roles (alums, students, parents, etc.) follow/are engaged on social media
- creating and designing templates in Canva for athletic scores, upcoming games/matches, events, Alumni Brag About A Buddy, RH_Decision announcements, etc.
- capturing and posting weekly content for SummerWorks’ social media accounts
- creating #TBT posts using photos and videos from Rowland Hall’s archive
- brainstorming fun ideas for Rowland Hall’s social media for the 2023–2024 school year
- designing ways for students to be featured in Rowland Hall's social media
- seeking out and following alums on the Rowland Hall Alumni channel
- seeking personal and professional updates from alums
This internship is great for anyone considering a career in marketing, communications, or a related field. Digital design experience and knowledge of Canva is preferred.
