In keeping with the program’s 38-year Olympic legacy, four Rowmark Ski Academy alumnae qualified for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina: Breezy Johnson ’13, Katie Hensien ’18, Madison Hoffman ’18, and Mary Bocock ’22. Their selection and performances on the world stage generated wide media coverage, highlighting both the athletes and Rowmark’s track record of developing Olympians. We’ve gathered a selection of that coverage below.

• Wide coverage of Team USA athletes, including local stories about those with Utah ties, ran in Ski Racing Media, Deseret News, ABC4, KUTV, the Standard-Examiner, and KSL.
• Three-time Olympic qualifier and favored women’s downhill contender Breezy Johnson was highlighted by NBC.
• Mary Bocock was interviewed by KSL and covered as one of four first-time US alpine Olympians by Ski Racing Media.
• Two-time Olympic qualifier Katie Hensien was profiled by KIRO 7 (Seattle).
• Park City’s TownLift included Breezy Johnson, Katie Hensien, and Mary Bocock in a piece about Utah’s deep ties to the US women’s Olympic alpine team.
• Following the Opening Ceremony on February 6, KSL profiled Rowmark Ski Academy as “a program with a propensity for getting young men and women ready to ski at the highest levels.”
• Breezy Johnson became Team USA’s first gold medalist on February 8. Coverage of her win in the women’s downhill event appeared across national and local outlets including Ski Racing Media, NBC News, the New York Times, the Associated Press, FOX 13, and Utah Public Radio.
• Following Breezy Johnson’s gold medal win, both ABC4 and the Deseret News explored the athlete’s ties to Utah and spoke to Rowmark Ski Academy Director Per Lundstam about the program’s record of Olympic success.
• The Salt Lake Tribune included Breezy Johnson in its coverage of Utah athletes who to stole the show at the 2026 Winter Games.
• In April, The Park Record interviewed senior Rowmarkers Alden Rhodes and Ruby Rosh, as well as Director Per Lundstam, about how the program keeps producing Olympians.
