Boys Basketball

Excellence On and Off the Court

Rowland Hall's boys basketball program provides a transformative experience where players excel both on and off the court. We are highly competitive, having won numerous region championships and making several long runs in the state tournament.

Beyond building technical skills, our exceptional coaching staff teaches critical values that transcend the game: teamwork, resilience, and dedication. Coaches instill a strong sense of community, guiding our athletes to become good people and responsible citizens who make a positive impact. That's why alumni consistently rave about the experience and credit the program for helping them prepare for life after graduation.

Here, basketball is more than a game, and our team is more than a group of players. They're a family, a pride of Winged Lions.

In 2022, he took on the additional role of assistant director of athletics, and in 2024 was promoted to director of athletics.

Winged Lion Legacy

Rowland Hall boys basketball teams have been a dominant force through the years. Since the sport's introduction at St. Mark's Grammar School in 1956 to today—when a whopping 56 percent of our Middle School boys choose to play the sport—basketball has been a staple of Rowland Hall's athletic program.
