Center for Community Impact

Shaping Empathic and Ethical Global Citizens

The Center for Community Impact is a testament to Rowland Hall’s commitment to educational excellence and community engagement.

Founded in 2023 to support the school’s vision, Developing People the World Needs, the Center provides students with the tools, knowledge, and experiences they need to drive positive change and engage in deep and reciprocal partnerships with key community stakeholders. The Center does this by:

  • Accelerating student leadership development through meaningful engagement and outreach opportunities
  • Providing educational resources and opportunities for experiential learning, community-based student research, design thinking and entrepreneurial development, and place-based learning
  • Facilitating collaboration between students, educators, families, and community partners
  • Promoting ethical leadership and advocacy for positive social change
  • Addressing pressing community needs through deliberate dialogue, research, community-based initiatives, and engagement projects

Serving a public purpose through community engagement, Rowland Hall’s Center for Community Impact strives to help shape a better future for all. Read more about the Center.

Community Partners Meetings

Community partners meetings gather local professionals and organizations working in areas aligned with the Center’s core pillars. Attendees network, build relationships, learn about pressing topics or innovative frameworks/tools, identify initiatives that will benefit the broader community, and interact with students who want to get involved.
