Descripción General

Horizons at Rowland Hall es parte de la red del Horizons National Program. El primer sitio afiliado en Utah, esta experiencia de campamento de verano de seis semanas está diseñada para apoyar a los estudiantes de escuelas públicas en escuelas de Título I para ayudar a mitigar su pérdida de matemáticas y alfabetización de un año escolar al siguiente. Lanzaremos Horizons at Rowland Hall en el verano de 2025 con nuestro primer grupo de estudiantes de segundo grado en ascenso de las escuelas primarias Liberty y Whittier. 

Los estudiantes del programa recibirán instrucción diaria en matemáticas y alfabetización, clases de natación y otras actividades de enriquecimiento y oportunidades para crear un ambiente de campamento divertido. El personal de Horizons también administrará una evaluación previa y posterior para ayudar a realizar un seguimiento del progreso de los estudiantes durante el programa de verano y compartirlo con sus escuelas para prepararlos para un próximo año escolar exitoso. Nuestro objetivo es hacer crecer este programa cada año con más grupos de estudiantes en los grados 1–8.

Horizons at Rowland Hall se asocia con escuelas, familias y socios comunitarios para crear una oportunidad dinámica para que los estudiantes de escuelas públicas aprendan y prosperen juntos durante los meses de verano. ¡Registra a tu estudiante hoy!

Detalles

Fechas: PD
Horario: 8 am–4 pm
Alimentación: Desayuno, almuerzo y snacks incluidos.
Transporte: Se proporcionará transporte hacia y desde Rowland Hall con un servicio de recogida en las Escuela Primaria Liberty y Escuela Primaria Whittier.
Tarifa: A las familias se les cobrará $35 por el programa completo de seis semanas. Hay ayuda financiera disponible para quienes la necesitan.
