Communication Efforts

The school’s website is primarily designed for prospective parents/caregivers interested in information about our mission and vision, curriculum, and programs. It's also a valuable place where current families can find news, athletics schedules and scores, arts schedules, community involvement information, and more. Most importantly for current parents and caregivers, the website the entry point for your parent portal. The website is maintained primarily by the school's Marketing and Communication Department.

The Parent Portal can be accessed with your password from the homepage of the school website and provides a single-login, customized, up-to-date, vital online resource for parents of all students at the school. The Parent Portal works with our all-school database to provide you with information particular to your student(s). Also accessible from our website are admission and employee portals.

Faculty, staff, parents, and students in sixth grade and older receive a weekly email with links to division-specific announcements about the upcoming week at school. These emails are typically sent every Friday—hence the name Friday Facts—and they keep our community updated on important events, deadlines, standardized testing dates, community engagement, field trips, and more.

You'll infrequently receive an email from our head of school or another all-school department regarding issues deemed of interest to the entire parent body. We try our best to keep these emails to a minimum, with content that is exceedingly timely or crucial.

Fine Print is Rowland Hall's online magazine. It features stories about all constituents of our community, from our youngest students to our accomplished alumni, and from our beloved teachers to our dedicated parents. Fine Print highlights are emailed to our community three times a year—in fall, winter, and spring—and new stories are posted regularly on the site.

The Finish Line is our school's athletics e-newsletter. It's emailed to our community three times a year, at the end of each sports season, and includes links to coach-written wrap-ups detailing team and individual accomplishments.

Only at Rowland Hall is a school-wide publication that pays tribute to our school community, shares progress being made around our strategic priorities, and recognizes the many achievements of the preceding school year. 

The annual Impact Report is a a publication that recognizes the generosity of all who believe in our vision to transform education and who support this work by making financial gifts to the school.
