School Lunch

Middle School students share lunch together on campus at Rowland Hall.

A full stomach is a prerequisite for a productive school day. That’s why we provide a nutritious lunch program that sustains energy and focus.

Rowland Hall partners with SAGE Dining Services to offer an optional, healthy lunch program for students in grades 1–12. Daily features include a variety of freshly prepared entrees, soups, and sandwiches, along with a build-your-own salad bar. Middle School and Upper School students can also choose from a selection of à la carte and snack items.

There is a daily fee for Lower School students; milk is also available for separate purchase. Meals for Middle School and Upper School students are priced à la carte. Students use a unique PIN to make purchases, and families are billed monthly.

Sustainably Delicious

Rowland Hall partners with SAGE Dining Services to select local vendors and design a dining program that mirrors our commitment to the environment. SAGE actively tracks food waste from our kitchens and dining halls, and this waste is picked up to be recycled into clean fuel. Lower School students are involved in these efforts. Classes help chart waste numbers and educate their peers on small steps that create a big environmental impact.
