We are pleased to announce that Sarah Lehman has been appointed the next chair of Rowland Hall’s Board of Trustees, beginning in July 2023.

Sarah joined Rowland Hall’s board in July 2015 and currently serves as the Finance Committee chair and on the ad hoc Capital Campaign Committee; she also chaired the Strategic Planning Task Force. Sarah and her husband, Paul, have three children—Samantha (12th), Will (11th), and Tyler (8th)—at Rowland Hall.

“This is one of the most exciting times to be part of Rowland Hall’s community,” said Sarah. “By launching our new strategic priorities, Rowland Hall has set the trajectory for the next chapter and is poised to fulfill its vision of developing people the world needs. We are a school on the move, and I am honored to be serving alongside Mick and our exceptional faculty and staff during these transformational years.”

In addition to her volunteer work at Rowland Hall, Sarah is the CEO of Zartico, a technology company with a mission to positively impact the world’s visitor economy by harnessing the power of data science to create SMART destinations. Prior to this role, she was president and CEO of ENVE Composites, a position for which she was named CEO of the Year by Utah Business and Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, and where her leadership earned her a Women in Technology Award. Sarah holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and has over 30 years of sales, marketing, and operational experience. In her spare time, she is known for forced family fun, loves a good dance party, and is an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

“The trustees and I are thrilled that Sarah agreed to lead the board,” said Christopher Von Maack ’97, who will complete his term as board chair during the upcoming 2022–2023 academic year. “Her strategic thinking, business savvy, empathy, and enthusiasm will serve the school and community well during her tenure and for years to come. Sarah has been instrumental in positioning the school to embark upon its ambitious strategic priorities. She is the right leader for this exciting chapter at Rowland Hall.”
