Ways to Give

Thank you for supporting Rowland Hall. Below, we’ve provided information on the many ways you can give to our school.

Depending on your philanthropic priorities and the impact you hope to make, there are a variety of ways to support Rowland Hall. We recommend consulting with your financial advisor to determine the giving approach that works best for you.

Gifts of Cash

One of the easiest ways to support Rowland Hall is with a gift of cash, via check or credit card. Gifts can be made by calling the Office of Institutional Advancement at 801-924-2958, or using our online giving form to make a one-time or recurring gift via credit card or bank transfer. Matching Corporate Gifts

Double your gift to Rowland Hall! Many corporations match philanthropic donations to nonprofits, either through direct matching gift programs or via United Way campaigns. Contact your employer about the possibility of an employer matching gift opportunity. Appreciated Stocks

Gifts of long-term appreciated stock or mutual funds are an easy and tax-efficient way to give to Rowland Hall. To secure the benefits of giving a gift of stock, you must have owned the securities for more than one year.

Donor-Advised Funds

Rowland Hall gratefully accepts grants from donor-advised funds (DAFs). DAFs can provide you with immediate tax benefits while making your charitable giving easier. We receive gifts from many of the largest DAF sponsor organizations, including Fidelity, Schwab, Bank of America, Vanguard, and Morgan Stanley.

If you or your financial advisor plan to offer Rowland Hall a gift through a DAF, please take a moment to notify us of your intention, prior to the transfer, by emailing Director of Institutional Advancement Robyn Jensen or calling her at 801-924-2961. By doing this, you ensure that we accurately identify, acknowledge, and allocate your gift according to your wishes.

Leaving a bequest to Rowland Hall can transform the lives of our students for generations to come. Legacy giving (planned giving) includes:

Are you 70½ or older and interested in making a tax-free donation directly from your IRA to a qualified charity? You can make current, tax-free Annual Fund gifts through a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) (up to $11,000 per person in 2026). Such gifts will count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) if you have one.
