Welcome to the Beginning School
The Beginning School is an exceptional place for young children to learn. Early childhood is an active time of brain development, and you will find actively engaged learners within our classrooms and outdoor spaces.
It is a pleasure to walk into any classroom and observe the excitement of young learners. We support the growth of the whole child, including character, intellect, creativity, and physical skills.
Children begin their day with beloved teachers who skillfully provide interesting activities that invite investigations, provide challenges to master, and suggest ways to engage in the classroom community. Young children arrive eager to play in our environments.
Our faculty members value and respect each child and family, and we're proud of our inclusive learning environment. Teachers foster a sense of competence by helping students learn how to investigate their own questions, share their ideas with others, observe closely, and revise ideas when needed. The rich experiences in the Beginning School help children develop learning behaviors for lifelong success. Concentration, perseverance, critical thinking, and compassionate action all begin as children learn how to regulate themselves in a school setting. We have budding engineers building water channels in the sand areas, eager artists experimenting with color compositions, young writers capturing their own voices, and busy builders exploring blocks in all shapes and sizes.
I invite you to join us. The Beginning School door is a welcoming one!
