Biography:

Andy Hare has dedicated his career to ski racing, both as an athlete and a leader in the ski industry. He launched his racing journey at Ski Butternut in Massachusetts before attending Stratton Mountain School, where he captured multiple Junior Olympic titles. Andy went on to compete for the University of Utah Ski Team, winning the 1996 NCAA Giant Slalom National Championship, earning three NCAA All-American honors, and serving as team captain during his junior and senior years. He was also recognized with the Alf Engen Sportsmanship Award. His competitive career included racing internationally with the US Ski Team Development Team and competing in the 2000 Winter X Games in ski cross.

Following his racing career, Andy spent 23 years with Nordica USA in a wide range of roles, including western race service manager, product manager, marketing manager, and, ultimately, director of marketing. He also revitalized the Ski Butternut race program, growing it to 230 athletes and 20 coaches.

In 2023, Andy joined Rowmark Ski Academy as Junior Program director, where he applies his decades of experience to developing athletes through training, mentorship, and a strong team culture. Andy lives in Utah with his wife, Wendy, and their children, Parker and Emma.
